Eye Protection
An average round of golf takes over 4 hours to complete. Even on a cloudy day, that’s 4 hours of exposing your eyes to harmful UV light. That’s a problem even for the casual golfer. In order to give your eyes maximum protection, your sunglasses must be polarized and you should choose frames that have large lenses that sit close to your face.

Most golf courses have some amount of water. In fact, on many modern layouts, there is water everywhere! Even on cloudy days that can mean a lot of glare and eye strain. If you find that you get headaches while playing, this is likely the cause. Even a lot of fatigue is due to eye strain.
